Following the exhibition , hear directly from Mel George about life in Arnhem Land. Gain a deeper understanding of Yolŋu culture, stories, and connection to Country, and learn about the traditions and art of Arnhem Land through the eyes of those who live it.

Public Workshop
Held in conjunction with GUYURRMIRR DHIMURRU - MAKARR DJALALTHA GAPU BUR’NAP MONUK LIL (Going to the Southeast), this free workshop offers a rare opportunity for a small group of students to learn directly from Yolŋu artists.
Explore traditional materials and techniques, and gain insight into the cultural knowledge and stories embedded in every line and mark.
